  • Description: Three sisters named, respectively, Varvara, Theodora and Kiki have inherited an old mansion from their father. In order to exchange it for flats in a newly built apartment block, they must find a husband for their fourth sister Filio, who is both deaf and dumb. Two candidates reject her, while she rejects a third. The fourth is the man of her dreams. He is a diplomat, who turns out, however, to be a crook. The fiancé of Kiki, the youngest sister, a guy named Markos Spyropoulos, who has a construction company, decides to bring some order in the house. Kiki and he share the house with: Varvara and her good-for-nothing future husband Tryfonas, Theodora and her student-for-life fiancé Pantelis - and Filio. The latter is sent to Australia to find herself a husband there. However, she returns on the same ship to marry a middle-aged peeping-Tom named Prokopis. The weddings of Kiki and Markos and old aunt Aglaia’s with a newly-arrived captain (who has been her fiancé for the last 20 years) are held on the same day.
